Elle se caract&eacute;rise par la destruction du cartilage des articulations qui perd en &eacute;paisseur, se fissure et finit par dispara&icirc;tre. Si les m&eacute;canismes de cette d&eacute;gradation sont mal connus plusieurs facteurs de risques sont identifi&eacute;s et peuvent donc &ecirc;tre r&eacute;duit par des actions pr&eacute;ventives.<\/p>\n<h2>Les causes de l&rsquo;arthrose<\/h2>\n<h3>L&rsquo;&acirc;ge<\/h3>\n<p>Pass&eacute; 65 ans <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inserm.fr\/thematiques\/physiopathologie-metabolisme-nutrition\/dossiers-d-information\/arthrose\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2 personnes sur 3<\/a> sont touch&eacute;es par l&rsquo;arthrose. Bien que&nbsp;toutes les articulations peuvent &ecirc;tre atteintes, la colonne vert&eacute;brale, les doigts et les genoux sont le plus souvent concern&eacute;s. Certains individus peuvent avoir de l&rsquo;arthrose sans pour autant en souffrir. Lorsque elle est situ&eacute;e au niveau de la hanche ou des genoux l&rsquo;arthrose entra&icirc;ne une g&ecirc;ne fonctionnelle qui peut n&eacute;cessiter une <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arthrolink.com\/dossiers-arthrose\/tous-les-dossiers\/arthrose-quand-operer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">intervention chirurgicale<\/a>&nbsp;mais sont efficacit&eacute; est limit&eacute;e &agrave; une dizaine d&rsquo;ann&eacute;e.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Les anomalies du m&eacute;tabolisme<\/h3>\n<p>L&rsquo;ob&eacute;sit&eacute; est un des facteurs majeurs de l&rsquo;arthrose du genou. La surcharge pond&eacute;rale augmente le risque d&rsquo;usure des cartilages des membres inf&eacute;rieurs. Une perte de poids, m&ecirc;me mod&eacute;r&eacute;e, permet de prot&eacute;ger l&rsquo;articulation. Mais c&rsquo;est surtout une accumulation des facteurs de risque en plus de l&rsquo;ob&eacute;sit&eacute; qui favorise l&rsquo;arthrose notamment du genou.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/public.larhumatologie.fr\/grandes-maladies\/arthrose\/quelles-sont-les-causes-de-larthrose\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Certaines recherches<\/a> mettent en avant les risques li&eacute;s au diab&egrave;te (effet n&eacute;faste d&rsquo;un exc&egrave;s de sucre sur le cartilage), aux anomalies du cholest&eacute;rol, des triglyc&eacute;rides ou l&rsquo;hypertension. Ces donn&eacute;es n&eacute;cessitent encore d&rsquo;&ecirc;tre approfondies.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Les causes physiques et physiologiques<\/h3>\n<p>Comme pour l&rsquo;ob&eacute;sit&eacute; un exc&egrave;s de charge, de sollicitation ou des traumatismes r&eacute;p&eacute;t&eacute;s des articulations lors d&rsquo;une activit&eacute; physique acc&eacute;l&egrave;re l&rsquo;usure des cartilages. C&rsquo;est d&rsquo;autant plus destructeur si la posture n&rsquo;est pas ergonomique. Que ce soit au travail ou pour une activit&eacute; sportive faire appel aux professionnels de sant&eacute; sp&eacute;cialis&eacute; (kin&eacute;sith&eacute;rapeute, ergoth&eacute;rapeute, rhumatologue&hellip;) est une excellente initiative pr&eacute;ventive.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Maladie et h&eacute;r&eacute;dit&eacute;<\/h3>\n<p>Plusieurs maladies articulaires ou inflammatoires peuvent entra&icirc;ner l&rsquo;arthrose. C&rsquo;est le cas de la polyarthrite rhumato&iuml;de, de l&rsquo;ost&eacute;on&eacute;crose, des pathologies dites microcristallines, des ant&eacute;c&eacute;dents de traumatisme articulaire tels que les fractures et les luxations.<\/p>\n<p>Certaines localisations de l&rsquo;arthrose seraient li&eacute;es &agrave; la g&eacute;n&eacute;tique. Ils nous transmettent une meilleure connaissance des gestes et postures les plus adapt\u00e9s dans notre quotidien. Que ce soit au travail, pour notre activit\u00e9 sportive voir dans l\u2019organisation de notre domicile ils peuvent nous enseigner \u00e0 \u00e9conomiser et entretenir notre corps.<\/p>\n<p>Une alimentation \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 et une activit\u00e9 physique r\u00e9guli\u00e8re et mod\u00e9r\u00e9e tout au long de notre vie donnent un b\u00e9n\u00e9fice sanitaire qui va bien au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019arthrose. Le bon sens, un bon accompagnement et l\u2019\u00e9coute de son corps sont finalement les cl\u00e9s pour pr\u00e9venir l\u2019arthrose.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Et quand l\u2019arthrose est d\u00e9j\u00e0 install\u00e9e?<\/h3>\n<p>Si pendant les crises aig\u00fces il est recommand\u00e9 de laisser le corps se reposer, l\u2019arthrose n\u2019emp\u00eache pas d\u2019avoir une activit\u00e9 physique quotidienne.
