Ce sont les femmes de plus de 40 ans qui sont le plus largement touch\u00e9es. En effet, il appara\u00eet g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement apr\u00e8s 40 ans et concerne \u00e0 90% les femmes. Selon le stade de d\u00e9veloppement de la d\u00e9formation, celle-ci peut devenir douloureuse et n\u00e9cessiter une op\u00e9ration. Cependant il est possible de pr\u00e9venir l\u2019<strong>hallux valgus<\/strong>, d\u2019en retarder l\u2019apparition ou d\u2019en ralentir l\u2019\u00e9volution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mieux comprendre l\u2019hallux valgus.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un peu d\u2019anat\u2019<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019<strong>hallux valgus<\/strong> est une d\u00e9viation du gros orteil vers l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur qui a pour origine une instabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019articulation entre le premier m\u00e9tatarsien et la premi\u00e8re phalange. Le premier m\u00e9tatarsien (au-dessus du creux du pied) s&rsquo;ouvre vers l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du pied, l\u2019articulation m\u00e9tatarso-phalangienne se d\u00e9forme et devient tr\u00e8s saillante (l\u2019oignon) et la premi\u00e8re phalange s\u2019ouvre vers l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur du pied. L\u2019ensemble forme un angle plus ou moins grand selon le stade de d\u00e9veloppement de la pathologie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les cons\u00e9quences de cette d\u00e9formation<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce changement d\u2019angle \u00e0 de grandes r\u00e9percussions. Nos pieds supportent l\u2019ensemble du poid du corps et de petits changements d\u2019axes, comme les pieds en canards, vers l\u2019int\u00e9rieur ou un <strong>hallux valgus<\/strong>, entra\u00eenent des compensations pour maintenir l\u2019\u00e9quilibre. Dans le cas qui nous int\u00e9resse aujourd\u2019hui, la d\u00e9formation du gros orteil s\u2019encha\u00eene vers un changement d\u2019appuis qui d\u00e9forme le pied dans son ensemble. Ainsi les autres orteilles se recroquevillent (forme de griffe), et des callosit\u00e9s ou \u00e9paississement de la peau se forment \u00e0 plusieurs endroits. L\u2019orteil perd progressivement sa capacit\u00e9 propulsive qui doit \u00e9galement \u00eatre compens\u00e9e par la plante du pied.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au d\u00e9but, l\u2019<strong>hallux valgus<\/strong> n\u2019est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas douloureux. La douleur r\u00e9sulte dans un premier temps du frottement de l\u2019oignon contre la chaussure. Il devient alors g\u00eanant de porter des chaussures serr\u00e9es ou de rester longtemps dans une station debout. La d\u00e9formation est particuli\u00e8rement handicapante lorsque une inflammation de la phalange appara\u00eet (bursite), il devient alors tr\u00e8s difficile de se chausser, de marcher et de rester debout pendant de longues dur\u00e9es. Dans 25% des cas, il y a une source h\u00e9r\u00e9ditaire qui peut \u00eatre aggrav\u00e9e par une posture, la morphologie, le port de chaussures serr\u00e9es\u2026 Prendre conscience de son corps et bien choisir ses chaussures sont la base pour pr\u00e9venir les complications de l\u2019hallux valgus.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un pied bien chauss\u00e9.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape de pr\u00e9vention est de bien choisir ses chaussures en fonction de la forme de son pied. Il doit \u00eatre bien maintenu pour \u00e9viter de glisser vers l\u2019avant plus \u00e9troit de la chaussure. Les chaussures \u00e9troites sont donc \u00e0 proscrire. \u00c9vitez \u00e9galement les talons hauts au quotidien, c\u2019est \u00e9galement un geste de pr\u00e9vention contre le <a href=\"https:\/\/kineoweb.fr\/kineoblog\/mal-de-dos-comment-prevenir-la-lombalgie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mal de dos<\/a>, de <a href=\"https:\/\/kineoweb.fr\/kineoblog\/douleur-au-genou-les-bienfaits-de-lactivite-physique-encadree\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">genoux<\/a>, de mollets&#8230; M\u00eame un talon de 2,5 cm entra\u00eene des effets visibles en particulier si le pied n\u2019est pas maintenu en haut de la chaussure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mettre en place une orth\u00e8se plantaire ou des chaussures orthop\u00e9diques peut s\u2019av\u00e9rer n\u00e9cessaire. Elles ne r\u00e9duisent pas la d\u00e9formation existante mais permettent de la ralentir. L\u2019action se porte sur la correction d\u2019appuis et permet de <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.revmed.ch\/RMS\/2017\/RMS-N-587\/Traitement-de-l-hallux-valgus-base-sur-l-evidence\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">soulager les douleurs articulaires du gros orteil et sous les m\u00e9tatarsiens lat\u00e9raux<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Les semelles orthop\u00e9diques peuvent s\u2019av\u00e9rer n\u00e9cessaires pour corriger des anomalies importantes de l\u2019architecture du pied.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exercices et travail postural.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il est primordial de conserver une bonne mobilit\u00e9 de l\u2019articulation de l\u2019orteil afin de ralentir l\u2019apparition des complications. Cela peut passer par des automassages, des exercices d\u2019\u00e9tirements et de la musculation. Ils sont faciles \u00e0 mettre en place au quotidien et votre kin\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 saura vous orienter pour bien les r\u00e9aliser.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les pieds sont \u00e0 la base de l\u2019architecture corporelle. Notre posture et notre physionomie ont donc un impact sur eux et r\u00e9ciproquement. Les compensations cr\u00e9ent des tensions musculaires et des d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibres de la structure squelettique. Le travail de conscience corporelle est donc important pour pr\u00e9venir ou ralentir le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019<strong>hallux valgus<\/strong>.
